Atypical & Awesome, “Simply the Best”
Phillip has been amazing this weekend and we have had the best Valentine’s weekend. He adequately spoiled me with roses, and candy, and all the things and we went out for Indian/Mediterranean food last night. We enjoyed music from Aaron Bostic- who has some killer guitar chops and who recognized us from social media as comics/songwriter- It was all very sweet.
I did not feel well yesterday so we did modify our plans. We were going to go to the Mardis Gras parade in Dothan but I simply did not feel up to it. I’m still recovering and although I am much better- I’m still not 100 percent- but we are getting there.
Friday, we had our private show. It was one of those situations where we were blessed to not only perform but to meet some very special people. Our hearts were touched during this time of love. Plus, we were able to enjoy dinner with them and Phillip had roses waiting for me at the event- he is truly a sweetheart.
I plan to extend the weekend of love through today and plan to continue my marathon of rom-com watching. “Sleepless in Seattle” was Friday so today is “When Harry Met Sally” and maybe, “You’ ve Got Mail” or “Pretty in Pink”. I am a sucker for love. May you feel love today and everyday.
