Atypical & Awesome, “Painting, Plays, and Pizza Parties”
We’re busy, we’re grinding, we’re doing the things. Phillip and I are getting into the groove with rehearsals for, “A Christmas Carol” at ESCC. We are also gearing up for our return to, “Legends and Lore” at Landmark Park the end of October. Annnnd…. we were just booked as actors for a Ren Fare in October! Ww have a very busy fall lined up.
Speaking of fall, Friday night we painted Halloween-themed pottery at The Potter’s House in Enterprise. Our pieces will be “fired up” and we will pick them up in a week or so- just in time for decorating. It’s a fun activity and a low-commitment way to get out some creativity- you come, you paint, you leave. You pick up your pieces later. Easy, peasy.
Saturday was football all day with some nice and somewhat shocking wins. Alabama had a rough start but adapted and ended up with a blowout over Kentucky. Texas. Wow- that win over Ohio will be talked about for years. Great games and great good. Phillip was in his element.
Speaking of food. We had a sweet get together at Mellow Mushroom to celebrate Reagan’s birthday. Our last little birdie is 18! We shared pizza’s, salad, spinach dip, and cupcakes. It was a special night.
We have much more to share so stop back in soon!
