Atypical & Awesome, “Iconic and a Little Ironic”

Such a week of ALL the feels! I received some scary medical news last week and will be having surgery soon to address the issue. Medical issues are always stressful but I am pleased to learn the surgery can wait until after the first of the year. We just don’t have time for all that right now!

So what are we up to currently? Phillip and I are deep in the trenches in rehearsal for the Southern Broadway production, “Coming Home”. I’m so proud to be a part of this and Phillip is doing amazing. Our dress rehearsal with audience is less than a week away. We have seventeen sold- out performances ahead of us- whew!

Sunday night, my heart was full and I did not stop smiling for an hour and a half. Crystal Gayle- THE Crystal Gayle performed in our current hometown and we were second-row center. My heart. She is in my top five, maybe top two favorite female artists of all time. Phillip bought me a t-shirt and magnet- he’s so sweet. It was a beautiful night. I love her so much.

Currently, I’m on a plane headed to NYC. Tonight, Autumn and I will go see another icon- Stevie Nicks. I’m a blessed girl. We have been blessed many times over this week and I am grateful. Thank you for being a part of the ride!
