Atypical & Awesome, “Peanuts, Crews, & Horses”
We had such s great weekend! Friday night, we took Reagan and a couple of her friends the Peanut Festival. We ate corn dogs and blackberry cobbler and I paid $15 for a bag of cotton candy. It was great!
Saturday night, Phillip sacrificed watching the Alabama/LSU on our big screen and accompanied me to the Clay Walker/Crews Wright concert at the Dothan Civic Center. Crews gave me a shout out from the stage so it was well-worth it. Plus, he and the band sounded great. We ended up having a really good time. We even stopped by Waffle House before heading home. It was a real night out, lol!
Sunday afternoon, my friend Angela and I met up at 5K Trail Rides in New Brockton for a bucket-list belated birthday (for Angela) horseback ride. We fell in love (sorta) with Rosie and Charlie and had a good ol time. Granted, my thighs are still feeling it! This old gray mare aint what she used to be. But what memories were made!
It was a fabulous weekend and I thank everyone who helped make it special!
