Atypical & Awesome, “Family & 250, Music News, and Back On- Stage”

We hosted the 4th at our house this year and it went well except for THE HEAT. Omg- miserably hot! We stayed inside and it was still hot but it was still great to have the kids and my parents here. We ate good food, had some laughs, and about half the crew loaded up and went to a mediocre fireworks show. It ended up okay because we made it safely inside just as nature’s fireworks show began. Some of the most intense lightning I have ever seen- it was like Mother Nature said, “hey, yall watch this!” Yikes.

Music news- Alice Nelson’s new single, “Vintage Love” releases on July 24! We wrote this song a few years ago and it is even more timely now. Please presave it! Phillip and I are back on-stage starting Thursday in, “Sunset Surf Club” at Southern Broadway. Our family will be in the audience this weekend so we are excited. Come see us!
