Atypical & Awesome, “Salsa, Toes, & Family”

It was a really sweet weekend. In addition to the shows (see previous blog entry), I made some really good homemade salsa using some of my Farmer’s market produce that was starting to get past its prime, There is something cathartic about chopping, dicing, and spicing lol it is yummy and I’m sure it has even more kick today as it tends to get spicier the more it sits.

Saturday also found me at a local spa getting a much needed pedicure. I have always been a little wary of someone touching my feet but I have found someone I like and have been to her several times times. Now, my toesies are all ready for July 4th.

Speaking of which, everyone is coming down for the holiday and/or the play next week and we are so excited. I pick Autumn up from the airport Friday, Phillip is getting Quinn, and Alex is coming next Friday! We went to see my parents yesterday snd took them some of the homemade salsa and had a nice long visit so that was nice. Plus, Reagan’s younger sisters came for a sleepover. Just a lot of sweet family time.
