Atypical & Awesome, “Big Deal on the Radio”

Sunday morning, I was blessed to hear Crews Wright’s “Big Deal” on two different FM stations. I was given a heads up so I called my parents and they were able to listen as well. I think this may be the first time they have heard one of my songs on the radio so it meant a lot to me for them to have this experience. Phillip and l went out to the car to the listen in our pjs with coffee in hand- he is so supportive. I am both blessed and lucky,

Then, without warning I heard a commercial for the upcoming Sweet Tea Festival where Crews will be performing annnd “Big Deal” was playing in the background. I squealed! These little victories help keep me excited and encouraged in a field that can often be disheartening. Plus, I have a write scheduled tonight so I am riding a happy high right now.
