Atypical & Awesome, “A Good Tired”
Another week of so much everything… Thursday night, I participated in Mural City Coffee Company’s, Open-Mic Poetry night. There waa a huge turnout and I presented a new writing, “Tomatoes”. It is so inspiring and encouraging to see such a response from the community regarding creative events.
Yesterday, I perused our local farmer’s market and hit a few of my favorite stores for some shopping for our upcoming trip to New York. We also made BIG plans for a family trip this spring to the happiest place on earth and we are all sooo excited. We are stoked!
I also started back on the recumbent bike and did 20 miles in two days- that’s probably part of the reason I’m that “good tired”- lol
Finally, last night Phillip and I went to Hoobler Music for the “Piano Man Concert” which was a tribute to Billy Joel. It was phenomenal. Hoobler Music is a true gem in the community. I always feel a “little New York” when I attend their events. We are lucky to have access to such cool events in this area.
There’s more to tell but I’ll save it for another day. Hope you are a “good tired” from doing things that fill your soul!
