Atypical & Awesome, “A-May-zing”

Busy but fun- that is pretty much how I would sum up the past week. Tuesday evening, I participated in a Cinco de Mayo themed charity Bingo party benefiting the Children’s Miracle Network. Saturday, Phillip and I went to visit my parents and took my mother her Mother’s Day gifts. Phillip had secured some coveted Loyless doughnuts earlier that morning so we share our abundance. I was able to see my niece, nephew, and sister as well so that was an added perk.

Sunday, Phillip spoiled me immensely for Mother’s Day. He gave me gorgeous flowers and a fancy “smart” bird feeder I’ve wanted. Phillip, Reagan, and I had a great brunch with mocktails at the Barrel Room. We spent the afternoon getting the bird feeder set up, having a nice dinner, and a wonderful after dinner walk- one of my favorite things lately.

Today is our 10th wedding anniversary and I woke to a home filled with roses. I am a lucky and blessed girl. We have many more adventures to talk about soon so be sure to check in often. Thank you for being a part of this journey.
