Atypical & Awesome, “10 Years plus A Few”

Phillip and I celebrated our 10th Wedding Anniversary Monday with take-out and the season finale of American Idol. We actually went to bed an hour before the winner was announced because 10 pm is way too late for a school night. There was a lot of strong talent this year- all should be proud.

Last night, I attended the coolest Act and Sip event hosted by the Wiregrass Museum of Art and SEACT. What fun- getting to network, and act, and sip! There is such a need for these type of events and my heart is full this morning.

I also wrote most of a song on my way to work yesterday so I look forward to working on it later today. I am taking today off from the day gig so I plan to have some writing time.

Our comedy event is tomorrow so we are providing the lunchtime entertainment for the “Healing Brick Road” Mental Heath Networking/Awareness event. I will be presenting education regarding utilizing humor in clinical settings and will also do at least one set. Phillip is armed and ready to do a couple of sets, too. We are looking forward to seeing everyone!
