Atypical & Awesome, “Under Construction “

The past few weeks have been focused on building. I have much on my mind so I have scaled back on many things but have been focused on skill-development, practicing for shows, and writing. I have a new rehearsal space to include mics and a speaker so it has been a learning process. I’ve been going live on Tik Tok to help me work through the performance anxiety that can often get the best of me. I feel like I have already made a lot of progress.

I am just moving forward- trying to find my place in an ever-changing world. Determined to continue on this dream path despite the noise telling me I’m no longer young enough, thin enough, or trendy. It is a tough road at times and often lonely. I’m just doing me. I am writing songs I want to write and performing the way I want. I am letting my heart and soul be the lighthouse. Not everyone will “get it” but it was never about them anyway. I have something to say- many things to say- thank you for being a part of it all.
