Atypical & Awesome, “The Couple that “Plays” Together”

Sigh. It was a beautiful weekend for Phillip and myself. He took me on a romantic beach getaway. Even though we were in Panama City- it didn’t feel like it. In fact, we did not leave the resort. We dined there, enjoyed the amenities, and watched a few shows- live Reggae music on Friday night and a Polynesian/Fire show on Saturday night which was amazing.

Before we left for our getaway, we did start another adventure. Thursday night, we had our first auditions with Enterprise State Community College’s theatre department. We both presented monologues and it was exciting for Phillip as it was his first formal audition. The cast list was posted yesterday and we are happy to say we will be in this year’s production of, “A Christmas Carol”. We meet our cast mates Thursday and we are anticipating a busy and fun holiday season.

In fact, we meet tomorrow night to do a walk-through at Landmark Park for the Legends and Lore event coming up the last week of October. I have worked on the script and we will be casting soon. More fun adventures for us- Spooky season AND Christmas season- stay tuned!
