Atypical & Awesome, “Strange Forms”

I still have much to say- lol. Healing comes in real strange forms sometimes. While we were in Atlanta, I received notice that “Big Deal” was played on WTVY 95.5 FM. FM radio- finally, thank you! It has also been streamed over 10,000 times on Spotify and the video has been viewed 11,000 times on youtube. It is getting traction and people are responding- what more could I ask for? Hearing people yell for it at a live show was pretty cool, too. Thank you Crews for letting me be a part.

Speaking of a part, Sunday, I auditioned for a musical. I may or may not get the part but it was the best audition I’ve ever had and I am proud of the growth in my performance confidence. Five years ago, I would have backed out or would have been a nervous wreck. I have evolved and I credit comedy for the thickening of my skin.

Last night, Phillip and I took the stage for the 90th time- three years and three days after our very first comedy performance. Talk about growth. I am so proud of us- mainly for consistency and continuing to come back even when it is hard. Like I said, healing comes in strange forms sometimes.

I have also been a part (the word of the day) in some interesting songwriting projects lately. I am grateful for the various opportunities which arise and look forward to seeing what’s next. I have a feeling a banjo may be involved. As always, stay tuned:)
