Atypical & Awesome, “Small but Meaningful Victories”
It has been a week of steady progression for our family. Our youngest child turned seventeen, we have climbed over a few significant hurdles, and we made some intentional choices for our spiritual and emotional growth.
Out of a respect for privacy and maintaining boundaries I will not go into detail but I will say I feel very relieved and grateful. We are getting there! Also, I received great news- I have been cast in a local theatre production which we begin work on the end of October. The show dates are the end of November through December (we end right before Christmas). I am super excited to share the specifics once I get the green light!
We had a sweet weekend of football and celebrating Reagan. Saturday night we took a friend and her our for Mexican food and ice cream. Sunday morning, Phillip and I tried out early church and really liked it. I am thinking this might be a new regular thing for us. We were home in time for brunch and a couch nap. Plus, it brought some much needed peace to our hearts.
Wherever you are today, I hope you, too find peace. Life is super short, find peace and lead with love. Big hugs.
