Atypical & Awesome, “OWA and Sausage Lentil Soup”

Phillip and I had a sweet weekend road trippin’ to Mobile to take Quinn to the waterpark. It was our first experience at OWA and will definitely go back. The fact the waterpark is inside was a big plus. There is also an amusement park and restaurants. Right as we were leaving, it started lightning so we made it out just in time. But it was a fun day and reminded us, we are not as young as we use to be!

Once we dropped Quinn off we went back to the hotel to get ready to go out. We opted for Carraba’s because we needed to rehydrate and they have my favorite sausage and lentil soup. It’s soooo good- mmmm. Plus, it’s nice to put on a dress and have dinner with my sweetheart. One of the perks of marrying your best friend- you truly like being together.

It’s a short but busy week for us with lots going on. I hope you are having some good family time and finding joy in the little things wherever you are today.
