Atypical & Awesome, “Closer”
Welcome back. We have some catching up to do. There is a lot of excitement and anticipation as we are getting ready for a big family trip to Disney. We have not been in eight years so even though we are “older” we remain a bunch of big kids. We cannot wait to share this with our now “grown” kids and granddaughter. I am sure we will have plenty of pictures to share so stay tuned.
Entertainment wise, I shared a couple of originals at Hoobler Music Open- Mic this past Friday. I performed, “Poison and Perfume”, “Sunday Morning Coffee”, as well as a Carole King cover. It went well and I plan to do this monthly. I have a new rehearsal space which has helped tremendously so I plan to start doing more songwriter shows.
C& P Comedy has booked a show with a nonprofit in May and is pleased to be part of the “Healing Brick Road” event. It is May 18 and I will post the flyer. It is a great way to learn about resources in the area for mental health and social service needs.
Finally, Phillip and I had auditions last night and have been cast in another local theatre production this summer. It’s a musical so getready! As you know, we stay busy so as always thank you for your support!
