Atypical & Awesome- “All the Good Things”

Busy. Crazy busy. So busy, I had to hit the brakes last night and simply rest. Well, kinda. I still ended up working on a new song but I was laying down while I worked so that counts for something, right? This week I have had three cowrites in three days, hosted an event celebrating a friend who just signed a record deal, wrote a review for a friend’s website, and have had countless promotional tasks and other music/publisher related things going on. In addition to the day gig, family events, and major life changes all at once. Some folks call this “spinning plates”. I’m not exactly sure what it is- life in overdrive, maybe? However, in all the busyness I an reflecting on two dear friends (actually, three) I have lost recently. Life is so incredibly fragile. Be busy, be productive, but be present because life is incredibly short,
