Atypical & Awesome “Giddy Up”

Well, I debuted a new song, “Saddle” at Hoobler Open-Mic last night with a big support and assistance from my girl, Shelia Quattlebaum. Shelia’s been teaching me guitar and has a lifetime of stage experience so just having her next to me helps my nerves so much. Thanks, Shelia! I know that might sound odd considering how long I have been writing. I typically write on keys but started taking guitar over the summer (my third attempt at lessons). It is going better and I am writing more and more on guitar these days. A guitar is just so much easier to lug around than a piano! Lol Seriously, keyboard players have a tough gig- those are a pain to transport. Enjoyed seeing so many familiar faces last night. I think we have all grown so much through the years- proud of everyone and grateful to Roy and Kim for being such gracious hosts, I’ll post the link- I come on around 42:00 (no Idea how to edit the live video). The song is “Saddle”. Enjoy!
